Our Initiatives

From Ideas to Action

The Turnaround Agenda sets out where Buffalo Niagara should go. Our initiatives are how Change Buffalo PAC plans to get there. They are organized into four tracks, each with its own page:

Policy Initiatives

Signature proposals that turn the Turnaround Agenda into concrete programs, from legalizing more homes and speeding up permits to one regional IDA and a taxpayer dividend.

Advocacy Campaigns

Focused campaigns on the decisions that will shape the region’s next decade, including restoring Humboldt Parkway, reconnecting Delaware Park, tying any sales tax renewal to property tax relief, and opening the books on government.

Organizing

Neighborhood captains, working groups, civic leadership training and listening projects: the people-powered work that builds a lasting movement for change.

Local Legislative and Reform Initiatives

Model local laws, charter amendments and governance, ballot and transparency reforms that the PAC proposes at the city, county and regional levels.

How Our Initiatives Work

Every initiative on these pages follows the same structure: the problem it addresses, what the PAC proposes, why it matters to the turnaround, and how you can get involved. All of them are Change Buffalo PAC proposals and campaigns. Where an initiative calls for a new law or policy, it is a proposal we are advocating for, not legislation that has already been introduced or adopted.

Get Involved

Pick the initiative you care about most and tell us. You can join a working group, lend your professional expertise, organize your block, or support the PAC so these campaigns can reach more people.
